Game Progress: We save your board state, line connections, and scores locally on your device.
Inventory: Your coin balance and "Hint" inventory are tracked to enable in-game rewards and purchases.
B. Cloud Synchronization & Social Features
To ensure your progress is preserved across devices and to enable competitive play:
Apple iCloud (KVS): We use iCloud Key-Value Store to synchronize your coin and hint balances between your devices.
Apple Game Center: We use Game Center to manage leaderboards and achievements. This involves using your Game Center display name and a unique team identifier.
Cloud Database (Firebase): We may sync your Game Center Team ID and basic gameplay stats (wins/high scores) to a secure database to facilitate multiplayer ranking and social mapping.
2. Third-Party Services
CloseMyBox integrates the following third-party services:
Google AdMob: Used to serve advertisements. AdMob may collect and use device identifiers (such as IDFA or Android Advertising ID) to serve personalized or non-personalized ads. You can manage your ad preferences in your device settings.
Firebase Core/Analytics: Used for basic app stability monitoring and usage analytics to help us improve the game.
3. Data Retention
Gameplay data synced to iCloud or Game Center is retained as long as you maintain your Apple account or until you delete the app's data from your device/cloud settings.
4. Children’s Privacy
Our game is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
